A George II Oak Linen Press

Of weighty proportions, handsome in form, with a sleepy untouched deep patination to the oak. The two hinged doors open to reveal a series of linen press drawers, which can be extended and rested on the ‘door runners’, to extend the depth of reach. The bottom section with three long drawers, on weighty brass casters, with swan neck handles and large brass carrying handles to the sides. A quiet and strong staple piece of grand country house furniture, in the humble form.
