A Magnificent Scale George II Carved Oak Bookcase
With central glazed doors, showing original glass with soft movement in the plates, with a configuration of shelves. The intricately carved stepped cornice, with dentil moulding above egg and dart carved panelled doors, flanked by confidently carved Corinthian columns. The unusual central mask detail is complimented by subtle laurel leaf carved detailing, with the bottom plinth section enclosing three large and voluminous drawers. With an overall soft yet dark patina to this early oak timber.
